Kashmir

Assam

Nameri National Park covering an area of about 200sq. kms is located at the foothills of eastern Himalayas about 35km from Tezpur, the nearest town. The park is the second Tiger reserve of Assam. The park consists of deciduous forests, hills and the river Jia Bhoroli flows through it. Nameri was set up as a sanctuary on 18th September 1985 with an area of 137 sq km which was actually a part of Naduar Forest Reserve. Later another 75sq km was added to it making it an area of 212 sq km and on 15th November, 1998 it was officially established as a National park.

Andhra Pradesh

Each of the divisions, Jammu , Kashmir and Ladakh, has distinct cultures geographical terrain, religion and life style. It is often called LITTLE TIBET. Ladakh derives its name from Tibetan La Tags the land of high pass. Ladakh in the western Himalayas form the vast Tibetan plateau, a high altitude desert, Karakoram Ladakh and Zanaskar range. Ladakh is divided administratively into 2 districts Kargil and Leh.

Madhya Pradesh

Orissa

Orissa occupies unique position in the ethnographic map of India for having the largest variety of tribal communities. Sikkim

Sikkim has many splendid attractions, terraced hills with magnificent wonderland of forests and rivers, rare flora and fauna. Sikkim's rich cultural heritage is rooted in the monastic tradition of Buddhism. Mahayana Buddhism is the state religion having wonderful Gompas in the hills. The Himalayan State which has the towering Kanchan- Dzonga or Kanchanjungha ranges, famous in the world. at 28,216 feet, 8598 mts, is the third highest mountain in the world.

Agra

Agra is possibly the most famous tourist destination in India. Known for the spellbinding Taj Mahal, one of the wonders of the world and a monument regarded worldwide as a symbol of eternal love, the city invites tourists with open arms from all parts of the world. The other must visit monuments of the state are the Agra Fort, tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, Jahangiri Mahal, the Rambagh and Dayalbagh Gardens.One of timeless wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal in Agra is a pride of India.
